I chose this star projector for my guest room in my house. I wanted a night light that would also put friends and family in a good mood over the night. This is the second projector I've bought and I wanted a different light pattern and colors for a change. The kit includes a remote control that allows you to turn on and off different modes. Inside the device are optics that split a single laser beam into hundreds of smaller beams that create green star-like projections on the ceiling. I was very happy with this model and it looked fantastic. I also like the colorful nebulae this projector produces. Unlike the other projector I have, this one can project multiple colors at once, and each multicolored cloud can overlap others, creating mixed colors where they overlap. I can dim the lamp which is handy as it can be dimmed before bed to serve as a night light. In addition, laser and color cloud projections can be controlled independently for many possible combinations. I also like the movement of moving clouds that create a dynamic display. Overall this is a decent projector and the colors create a nice atmosphere in the room.
