Review on πŸ›΅ Amazicha Black 4.5" Wave Windshield Windscreen for Harley Davidson Touring Electra Glide Street Glide - Fits 2014-2022 by David Sidman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Couldn't get any better (for the price)

Let me start by saying that I have a 7" Harley windshield ($150) and a 10.5" Klock Werks ($180) That's $330 wrapped in windshields and still not quite satisfied. I don't like the look of the 10.5" but using the stock seat on my CVO Limited it's the only windshield that gives great protection. Thing is, I took a chance on one of these, various sizes to try out as I run 3 different seats, a solo, a 2 seater with bar and a standard 2 seater with the touring pack installed. All 3 seats are slightly different in height and position which means I have one for each I figured it out for $20 I could buy any size I didn't have and try them all for about $80 instead of probably over $1000 and once I found the sizes I wanted, ordered i got this size from klock werks or harley-davidson brands not bad at all and now i have all sizes of smoky black and 2 transparent colors do they scratch easier than others 😊 about the same size like a Harley, bigger than a Klock Werks, but the scratches are easy to polish out. just as easily with a polish for plastic glasses +and+remove+scratches&qid=1625922245&sprefix=plastic+windshield+%2Caps%2C173&sr=8-5). I'd say the thickness is actually thicker than the other two more expensive brands, but pretty close. I have no problem fitting any of these and haven't had any quality issues. One thing I do, and this applies to other brands as well, is that I use a dremel to drill 2 side holes so I can change the windshield without loosening a single screw. Once you tighten the screws they don't go anywhere so I think the design of these holes is too strong, my opinion may not be yours. No matter what product someone has, there is always a way to ruin it, blame the product and write a bad review. "Windshield blew off on the freeway!" It's an operator problem, I guarantee it. So my review is if you are looking for a windshield, know what size you need and have the budget for the brand, go for it. If you're like me and want MANY size and color options, or want to try multiple sizes for the price, you can't go wrong. There are always people who will buy a $20 windshield, expect to get a $200 windshield, and break a $20 windshield. Let me put it this way, if that windshield is only $20, Harley and Klock Werks are only $30 to $50 depending on the size. If you really believe that famous brands are worth their $150-$180 price tag, then they are worth $120-$140. There isn't that much of a difference to justify such a big difference in price. I could change my windshield every spring for the next 9 years and spend less than 1 o'clock on a windshield. I've been using them for a year now and they still look great so I don't have to replace them that often, if ever.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Not as good as it says
