I mounted this to the back of a wooden table where another used to be but the other didn't have USB ports and I needed one. It wobbles a bit but I have a feeling it is because I used the same fasteners as the old one and if I replaced them with a larger cap screw it would be more secure. Otherwise it works as expected. I wish it was a Lightning charger but I mainly use it for stuff on my desk like a light and salt lamp as well as my laptop and charging my phone at night so it works quite well for that!
