My final mouse pad was Fellows Gel which was a little hard but manageable. After about 6 years of daily use it cracked and had to be replaced. So, I'm checking the reviews on Revain, this thing has a high rating, so why not. As some others have pointed out, it's a foam, not a gel, at least not in my universe. The pads make a "crunching" noise when you move your hand, which is annoying. What manufacturer in their right mind would consider this acceptable? The pillow is too flat and not high enough to support it. I used it for 5 hours typing and it ends up in the bin. My palm actually feels bad, which is new. I feel like the 5 star reviews are the hawkers, they only use it a little and not for work, they've never used a gel pad or magically gotten something very different than me.
