fell apart after only about 6 months of ownership! The lid came off and the material inside fell out. Wouldn't recommend at all!

My final mouse pad was Fellows Gel which was a little hard but manageable. After about 6 years of daily use it cracked and had to be replaced. I got one of these in 2001 and I still keep it and when I needed a new one I bought it without looking at the reviews because 16 years later I'm perfectly happy with the old one . However, it seems that during these years they decided to remodel it for the worse. I've had one of these pads for years but it has worn down over time and the worn spot just below my optical mouse has become a problem. So I decided it was time for a new gel mouse pad and I was thrilled to see that the exact same mouse pad was still available. Same company and all.
