As you can see I have decorated these candles to my liking. They looked too plastic, not waxy. So I got creative. The shiny gold coasters that came with them looked pretty "cheap" and cheap, so I replaced those as well. I've been looking for faux candles that have the flame actually dancing on a little spring mechanism, and they look so damn real you seriously "can't" tell them from a REAL lit candle no matter how close you get! I have these 'pillar' style ones and EVERYONE thought they were real but I needed a 'conical' type dining table. I have read their description over and over again to make sure this is what I am buying. From the way they described the "flickering" light and how "natural" it looked, I was convinced this was exactly what I needed. Sale! Well, it turns out it wasn't. you just. uh, ok. The glow is weak (NEW fresh batteries installed) and the flickering part was very "repetitive", NOT natural at all and barely flickered. The board works fine. Love it. I guess I can't overthink it given the price but does it look natural? no Not at all. Wouldn't buy them again. Let's get back to the search.
