I wanted a lightweight COVER, but this is really the density and weave of a very lightweight BLANKET. The quality (if you want a light blanket) is great and it's great to have a truly woven 100% cotton product. But in the photo everything looks much more solid than in reality. The weave is so soft and fluffy that it lets light through easily when held up to the light, and I don't call that the density of the bedspread. I wish it was the density of the traditional matelasse bedspreads that I found in the past but can't find today. It still got 4 stars because of the quality, but that's a really misleading picture.
