Review on Renogy Voyager 20A Waterproof Solar Charge Controller | 20 Amp | 12/24V Auto by Adam Walsh

UPDATE: After reading this initial review, Renogy contacted me and sent a replacement. This new block works fine. For this reason I have changed my rating to 4 stars (originally 1 star). Renogy seems to stand behind their product, it just took a little effort. The Renogy Voyager 20A charge controller was very easy to install. I connected it to my 12v deep discharge battery and then to a Renogy 50w solar panel. The display indicated that the battery was charging and I was able to easily view the various settings on the display. At this point I was very satisfied. When I checked how it was doing the next day, the display was blank. Nothing was displayed. So I unplugged the panel, then the battery and let it sit for a few minutes. Then I reconnected the battery, then the panel and still nothing. A few days later I contacted Renogy tech support and got a call back (I'm not complaining about the delay as this is happening during the COVID-19 pandemic). But the answers I got from tech support was that I would have to return the item (which would leave me without power to my electric fence). Not satisfied and will not buy Renogy product again
