The product is too sticky and not crumbly enough. There is no way to get the applicator brush to apply enough product to get the job done. If you then try to open it to wet the brush you will end up with too much product. This might be a great dry shampoo, but the downsides of the applicator outweigh any benefits that "shampoo" could have.
