After checking all barrels of this size on Revain, this one has the longest barrel. Basically, it would make it easier to spin from root to end in one go. Unfortunately, my hair took up the full length of the barrel twice, so I had to strategically position the barrel to try to keep the curl pattern seamless. I tried two sections (tiny sections) and gave up. The item I received was also defective/broken. The temperature could be increased, but the temperature decrease button did not work. Therefore, the temperature of the curlers could not be lowered to the cooler options when turned on. Otherwise it seemed like a tool that would do the trick. The clamp was useful but not very strong in the end. (If you started your section at the ends at the barrel tip, it was difficult to keep it in the clip unless you had already rotated it once.) The metal stand wasn't very useful due to the heavy weight of the item. This was good because the barrel was too thin to get a flat surface when the curlers were placed without a stand.
