Less sensitive to wind - replaces my Sennheiser ME2 wireless microphone

The MIC-J 017 is the third lavalier microphone that I want to replace with my Sennheiser ME2 wireless microphone. The cable is short and appears a bit thinner and thinner than the ME2, but the short length prevents tangling. The head clip is larger and feels more durable than the ME2. I put on a windscreen that made the mic even bigger. The windshield had no wind noise issues on my last outdoor weekend. The tonal differences are minimal. The microphone is slightly more sensitive than the ME2, so I increased the attenuator to 43dB. I also tried the MIC-J 016 Pro Lapel Lavalier Microphone JK. The MIC-J 016 for the Sennheiser wireless transmitter is a noise canceling condenser microphone that blows a lot more. sensitive but less than MIC-J 017. I think for now I prefer MIC-J 017 for outdoor events (less wind sensitive) and MIC-J 016 for indoor events (less visible). Sennheiser ME2 Price Sennheiser ME 2 EW Omnidirectional lavalier microphone. I will update this review and let you know about the lifespan of this mic. I have 80-90 outdoor events and 20-30 indoor events a year where I will be using this mic. I've used 3 Sennheisers that only lasted 12-14 months. I only gave it 4 points because it is more visible than the Sennheiser mic. If it were smaller I would give 5 stars.
