Do yourself a favor and stop buying retro style 1 gallon bottles. They are all leaky colored and full of chemicals. Invest double the amount and buy a glass jug. Or the same amount for a 1 gallon glass container. Be careful. It will last a lifetime. I returned it and bought a European glass (made in Turkey) which is very very thick. Not this super-thin borosilicate glass pitcher. The handle of my glass jug is very thick. If you're investing between $30 and $35, a half-gallon jar is best. I pour water into it and add mineral drops.
