We just moved into a 1 bedroom (17ft x 12ft) house that definitely smells like a cat. The bedroom is laid out with laminate, so there are no soft surfaces. I've cleaned it several times but it still seems to have a slight odor. There it happens. I hoped it would pull all the cat smell out of the air. I plugged it in and after about 24 hours the room showed no sign of improvement. After 48 hours the odor edge in the little corner where it was plugged in was gone. As a result, I moved it around the room and placed it in different places depending on the availability of an outlet, and after about a week it reduced the smell in the room a bit, but that didn't solve the problem. It was easy to set up and move around, but overall it didn't work as well as I thought the description promised.
