It's great. They give off a warm light as long as you use a warm bulb. Be a little careful when bending the metal supports that go into the lantern where the little hooks for the lanyard should go. It's soldered on and will pop out if you try to bend it too much. I installed some lights throughout the house using lights I found at Revain and some GE LED bulbs because they give off a great "warm" light that I really miss. old light bulbs.
