Review on Protective Leather Smart Case Cover For IPad 9.7 (2018/2017) & Air - Auto Wake/Sleep Flip Stand Design by Percy Haulin

I bought this case to house my iPad Air, got the leather black one. I'm happy with how the case protects my iPad and how easy it is to put on. I also love the tab that you slip behind the iPad to hold it in and the fact that it has Velcro on it. This assures your iPad won't easily slip out. I like the hand strap and the feel of the inside is okay, I've felt much softer linings but it's not terrible. It does have a slight smell to it, but that will go away after it's out in the air for a day or two. What I don't like is the fold on the front cover. I know it's there so it can be propped into a viewing position but it doesn't seem to want to lay flat when the case is closed and this rather annoys me that there is a pencil sized gap for things to slip in. Also there is no strap to hold it open so when you use the hand strap if you lose your grip the iPad half of the case will flop open and could pull off your hand causing a crash on the floor. I say add a strap to hold it open and this case would be perfect. I can live with the fold on the cover if it had a strap.
