Review on AKOAK Adjustable Black Pirate Eye Patch - Soft, Comfortable Eye Mask for Amblyopia and Lazy Eye in Adults and Kids by Amber Allen

This eye patch looks good and the elastic strap holding it in place is adjustable BUT... I'm an adult. I needed a "soft bandage" to cover my sensitive eye at night when I slept because the rigid aluminum bandage (which had to be taped in place every night) did NOT work for me. Unfortunately, this patch is also missing. The circumference of the patch is small, and instead of resting on my cheekbones and forehead, it pressed right up against my eye socket and started pressing right into my eye (no no, both according to my eye surgeon and my own comfort level). I tried to loosen the strap but it wouldn't stay in place at all. I only tried to use it one night; When I woke up in the middle of the night, the bandage worked so the bandage was closer to my ear than my eye, and the elastic cut through my "bad" eye. I gave it 2 stars because it's really well made and adjustable; It would probably be fine for daytime use for a young child who needs an eye patch to correct a squint (strabismus/lazy eye). But it didn't suit me, for night use. .
