Ordered for my sons new fiancee... Since they have just started living together I wanted to make a fun housewarming gift and make it personal. They are fully sealed with a smooth finish - no splinters, cracks or signs of early death - if you didn't know better you wouldn't know you were eating from a coconut! I love that each bowl, while very similar, has its own unique shape. all because of the simple fact that no two coconuts are alike haha! This brings so much joy to the coconut vibe. They make great candy bowls, cereal, acai, soup plates etc. However they can be used as a serving platter, remember size isn't too important. Again, I think coconut.! He has a matching spoon with every bowl – they were personally set aside and saved for use as serving bowls. perfect size for sauce, salsa or toppings. and when they do, they have the perfect spoon! (Otherwise the spoon is not suitable for everyday use.) For care: wash by hand in soapy water and above all let it dry completely! This will protect the shells for years to come.
