I first bought one of these other brand collars from a tractor for $50 and had to change the batteries every few days and in less than a month it just stopped working. I saw this one and decided to give it a try as both the collar and remote are paid for. So far I like it very much. It's definitely waterproof, which is a plus since I live in an area that gets a lot of rain. This training collar has three modes: beep, vibration and shock. So far I've only had to use the horn, but my dog doesn't like that sound at all, so he quickly starts to behave. I would say it definitely helps with some behavior issues that have been difficult to control and I will continue to use it. I highly recommend this collar. The price is good, the batteries don't change, the charge lasts a long time, it works.
