Notebook AC laptop manufacturers don't make a power cable from the adapter to the laptop plug-in, so you have to buy a whole new power supply or solder a new connector - and it's not easy to find the right plug. This is a stupid and annoying situation, but very beneficial for those who consider it their moral duty to transfer all the money from my pocket to theirs. However, as far as I can tell, this adapter is identical to the factory kit and works. simply good. It was nice of them to add an adapter cable that gives you a rectangular plug that should withstand the stresses of breaking built-in plugs. I'm giving three stars for value for money, not because there's anything wrong with this product, but because it's difficult to call a replacement "value" when I have to buy a complete setup just to replace that , where the stupid plug is broken. (And the replacement doesn't have a detachable cable, either.)
