My dog is elderly and needs help to stay warm when indoors year round. What's good: It's the perfect weight and fabric for it. It's not heavy enough for cold weather outside, but perfect for an air-conditioned home (for older dogs). It is long enough to cover most of a Miniature Dachshund's body. Good price and colors. What's wrong: As you can see in this photo, the front leg openings are too close to the neck opening. This stretches the front legs and makes it a little harder for her to walk. Dimensions: I bought her a size MEDIUM so that the neck can be easily placed on her head and so I can fit her front paws in the holes. Less will not work. She only weighs 9 pounds. So the size is wide. Nonetheless, the sweater works as intended and I've ordered a second one so she'll have a clean one when the other is washed. I recommend with understanding of the previous comments.
