If you are looking for a NOT square scarf that needs to be folded many times to make a headband then this is what you need. Exactly what I personally wanted as my job only allows for black hair accessories. It is sold as a bandana but is slightly wider than a wide headband so it works great in this case. The material is thin but has a decent weight. It's opaque, so it doesn't show through. Simple seams, pointed ends, nothing special. Has some shine. It holds up fairly well in a double knot if you don't mind long tails (a very old Hollywood look of top-down transformation), but it's just long enough to wrap back-to-front and tie a small knot in the front to bind . The quality is much better than I expected for the price.
