Review on πŸ“š mCover Hard Shell Case for 12.3" Google Pixelbook Chromebook - Clear, Compatible with 2017 and Later Models by Aaron Stewart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much better than what people say.

I would like to start by saying that despite the reviews on this product I took a risk. I understand why some buyers are upset. When using this case, you cannot use tablet mode. However, the case is really good in my opinion. 1) Even if you can't switch to full tablet mode with it, you can still work normally in kiosk mode. In addition, you can also remove the top cover very easily and switch to full tablet mode with the bottom cover. 2) Another person said the lid doesn't stay on, but I disagree. I've never gotten away by accident and travel a lot. Also, my dog ran into the charger at full speed the other day and pulled the computer off the coffee table. The computer still worked with all connections and had not a single scratch. The case didn't even fall out of the device, despite the Pixelbook being flung around like a frisbee. If I had to add one suggestion it would be to add rubber grips on the back of the case like on the front. The sleeve lifts the laptop and sits flush with the Pixelbook's rubber grip so it can't be used to prevent slipping. What I did to fix this was use 2 body bumpers (one to avoid noise) on the back of the body and it worked great. You can find them here: https://www.amazon.com/Ehanmu-Self-Adhesive-Rubber-Bumpons-Diameter/dp/B01N90V0MB/ref=sr_1_4?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1532353492&sr=1-4&keywords=cabinet+ Bumpers in total I recommend this product. I would normally give 4 stars for the bumper parts but I'm giving 5 to keep the reviews average. better.
