My 20 month old son loves pajama masks, he was a Halloween cat. I decided to give him this for Christmas as he is approaching the next stage of development towards independence. It was literally the best decision I've made for a number of reasons and I highly recommend it to all moms and I'll explain why. #1 Choose a design your child will love (my LO loves pajamas), it will help spark curiosity and drive it across the table. He keeps coming up to him to watch and admire the characters. #2 We've started using him instead of a high chair for every snack or meal as now that he has a bit of freedom he's more inclined to sit down and eat. He really hated being tied to a high chair (issues of authority, I get it lol) and he was literally trying to climb out of the high chair. The table was the perfect compromise as he makes the decision to sit himself, he has the freedom to get up and walk around while he chews (he obviously enjoys doing that) and then sits back down to snack. My kid is happy, we're happy, and I've noticed this new sense of appreciation from him, which is pretty cool. It's definitely a sense of accomplishment that he's being treated like a big boy, you know?! Either way, definitely recommended! The only complaint was putting it together, I had to ram the hardware into the prepared holes and it doesn't feel entirely secure, but somehow it feels good when it's all together.
