They are perfect for my needs. You lose 1/2* simply because it's not obvious that there actually is a left glove and a right glove! And, YES - I checked - the labels don't say what's what. In any case, I do amateur research in museums and archives across the country, working with fragile old documents. I already have a box of plastic surgical gloves but they tear easily, especially after wearing them for a while. I didn't want to buy more expensive and thicker gloves because you would lose the tactile feel that thin gloves give you. This couple is perfect! I wear them OVER thin plastic gloves and they offer adequate protection. I can see that they give me just the protection I need to wear plastic gloves all day when needed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, especially if you wear gloves like me!
