I bought this for my elderly mother who is very hard of hearing. She could not make calls on the Clarity phone, which is intended for the hearing impaired. With this phone, I was able to adjust the tone and volume so that she could use it with almost no problems. She can't dial a regular phone and I programmed the big buttons on the base and now she can dial 3 numbers herself. The hands-free function works very well and is loud and clear. I managed to program the phone to answer the call when you pick up the phone from the base station. Now it can answer the call itself. This phone has improved their quality of life.
