I bake a lot with my almost 5 year old. She was comfortable with full-size kitchen utensils, but she likes to have her own and it's easier for her. Especially with the rolling pin, she can skate better because her hands are closer together and push harder. We made a cookie and she loved rolling out the crust and then used a brush to brush the edges with oil. I used a rolling pin and a cinnamon roll brush. Rubber spatulas are great for spreading butter or when we use a small bowl (mixing butter or chocolate). Nothing sticks to the silicone parts.
