I ordered this tiny but expensive instrument with serious misgivings. I know how a zip tie lock works and thought the tool would probably work, but only after much arguing. Not right! These tiny scissors will undo any cable tie, no matter how tight, in a second or two. The wafer-thin lifter easily slides under the latch and the hook portion is pushed down. Together they remove the tongue from the tie, allowing it to slide easily out of the lock. Worth every cent of ten dollars.
