I have used this on my standard bath drain and on my large standing shower drain. Both fit perfectly and catch all the hair while letting the water through! I used to get very frustrated with my bathtub drain being constantly clogged by another drain filter that didn't sit flat. I also bathe my dogs with THIS filter and it catches their finer hair too. When I'm done, I take the filter and very lightly wipe any collected hair straight into the trash. I like that nothing gets stuck in the filter! With a large shower drain, hair no longer runs through these large holes. I would recommend and buy again.
