From the description I was expecting a full size mini PCI-e card, but it is actually half a mini PCI-e card. I bought it for a cheap Dell FX160 to add a second ethernet adapter so I can use the computer as a router/firewall. So far it has worked with IPFire and pfSense 2.1. So far it has been working flawlessly for almost a month. It was recognized immediately in Ubuntu, but I haven't tried it on any version of Windows. UPDATE: I couldn't get this to work with pfSense at first. It looks like the adapter was recognized, but after installing it I couldn't connect. Based on another user's comment, I decided to try again and now it's working fine with pfSense 2.1!
