After only five months of watercolor painting I have bought several brushes ranging from super high end to cheap. And this set is a wonderful starter pack for everyone. They actually held up remarkably well, much better than some of the more expensive brushes I've tried. So much variety in this set, especially in the smaller size range. Great for detailing and I've found most use for them with metallic watercolors in accents and often use them in the polaroid watercolor photos I take. The downside is that they will be colored with stronger pigments on first use, but that is a given with the white fibers. Repeated washing and not a bit of peeling, none of the tips came off the handle which was an issue I've had with several Creative Mark watercolor brushes. This is a set that you are welcome to use and is careful not to harm them as they don't require investing a lot of money into them, especially given the great use and quality I've received from them over the past few months.
