I really wanted to love this mount but it's just a really bad design. First, I'd like to say that while the blue LEDs (which are visible when there's no phone in the holder) are a bit annoying, they don't "glare" at all at night, as some reviews have mentioned. Here's a quick rundown: Pros: Mount sticks and stays on dashboard. Charger works * Sound quality is decent, although you have to crank your phone's volume all the way up and there's still a faint static buzz in the background. Cons: The phone falls out randomly when the heat from the vents touches the button that opens and closes the cradle. The buttons to change or pause songs are basically unusable as they are blocked by the phone. The included car socket is very loose and easy to unplug. for not believing a previous reviewer when he mentioned that the buttons are heat activated since they can only be touched and not "pressed". To me this is a major design flaw and I need to find a workaround as most of the places I would mount it are at vents. * Charging didn't work for the first week and then randomly started working. IT WILL ONLY CHARGE THE PHONE WITHOUT THE CASE. I have a slim lifedow on my phone that does fine inductive charging, but this mount has such a weak charger that I have to put the phone straight into the mount to charge it. So let's just say it won't be charged with any cases. Emptor caveat
