Bought with a Dockem phone case. I've never really bothered with car mounts because my iPhone 8 Plus always seems very difficult to get in and out of the mount. This mount (with compatible case) solved my problem. Don't try to put your phone in the holder as the case has a built in plate that attaches VERY securely to the magnetic pad. You just stick it in and it talks. The suction cup on the windshield is very tight. What's amazing about it is that it's just as durable if you remove it and reattach it later. If the suction tube is dirty and is no longer so tight, then you did it according to the instructions and a new one will come back.
