I love these! The purple/lilac color is exactly as was shown. Very vibrant beautiful color! They are soft and comfortable. They come well over my knee. There is an elastic band in the top end that helps hold them up; it was not too tight but tight enough to keep them in place. I have not worn them up above the knee, but do feel like they would stay in place. I wore them down over my ankle boots and they kept my ankles and legs warm. I would purchase these again.
