I bought these shoes for summer so I only wear them at home to appreciate the fit and comfort. They are very comfortable. I ordered 8 1/2 N. I would say the 8 1/2 length is as expected. Tight but not as tight as I had hoped. If the shoe didn't have a strap at the back, I wouldn't be able to keep the shoe on my foot. The strap ensures that the shoes stay in place. These are cute shoes and look well made. I have found in the past that Propet shoes hold their shape for a long time. I have no reason to expect less from them.
