Review on High Power Tri-Power Portable Baofeng UV-5R Two Way Radio for Ham Radio Enthusiasts by Kiyoshi Goro ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Invested in for use while mountain skiing or hiking. She grabbed a bag of AA rechargeable batteries. Electron-exchanged niMH and NIMH batteries. Tangentally watertight. NA771 is an antenna. About $100 was spent overall. ==== To combat the native battery's fear of the cold, I equipped it with a battery pack and some Eneloop. This setup allows the radio to function properly even when carried in a backpack at temperatures as low as -15 degrees Fahrenheit. I haven't tried it in the freezer. The rotational lock on the tangent is convenient, and the tangent itself is a nice (nameless) shape. May be worn around the neck or on the shoulder in any position. In comparison to the source material, the level of communication is high (a solid 4+). Strength of 4.5 watts. Similar alternatives that are significantly more expensive often aren't as effective. Capable of simultaneously tuning into two wavelengths. Radio. I was puzzled as to why the Chinese would install a radio in such an unlikely place. It was especially helpful to have a radio in the cabin or tent during the long winter nights. Torch. A flashlight, however, will never be unnecessary. While Lupine isn't an option, highlighting always works.

Pros
  • Price. Excellent value for the money. Power. A plethora of complements. There's a radio and a light that are both built in. The frame is made of aluminum. Resilient plastic. Regarding the scale. Glass charge port for recharging the walkie-housing talkie's and the battery separately.
Cons
  • The plastic housing may not have been perfectly aligned between its components, if that is where the problem lies.
