Peripet pet screen door is good for our dog and my family. We had a handyman build a metal frame, attach a paripet and install it in our screen door. Our little dashhound learned in two days and now allows himself to go in and out at will, saving us countless stops to let her in and out. . The only problem we had was with the locking system. When the dog was first brought to the door, his paw accidentally closed the lock. We had to wrap tape around the lock to hold it in the 'open' position for her to get out. We didn't remove the tape, but we probably could now that she's learned to open the door by pushing it with her head to get in and out.
