This simple rubbish bin is perfect for my car. I placed it in front of my glove box because it was the best spot for me, easy to access, easy to see and dump the junk. I bought another trash can that could be placed behind the seat headrest, but it couldn't cover or hide my trash and people could see it. It worked fine but I just wanted something to close and hide my junk. I don't have many passengers, but when I have a passenger in the front seat, they don't seem to mind. However, I drive a Honda CR-V and it's a very roomy car, especially in terms of legroom, so this product suits my car really well. If I had that in a Honda Fit I think it would be too big and probably bother my passenger's feet. The product came with two clear plastic bags to line the bin. I haven't tried a bagless trash can yet and don't think I'd want to. It holds a lot of rubbish although I don't throw away large items, it's more like receipts, napkins, small papers etc. I would never store food and drink rubbish in the car as it can allow insects to get in, so I don't know if it is sealed or not. All in all a great purchase, perfect for me! This trash can does exactly what it's supposed to.
