I flew Southwest Airlines with this carrier for my 10.2lb 7 week old Border Collie. I don't know what plane I was on, but it fit under the seat easily, but my little pup didn't have room to stick his head out (although the Southwest doesn't allow dogs out of the cabin). Carrier). I'm only giving it 2 stars because it was the hardest thing to carry on a plane and it did NOT keep its shape when the pup was on. She even flipped it over so I had to take it out, adjust it and then put it back in - not the best experience for a new puppy. Each zipper has two pull tabs that can be connected to prevent your pup from opening. bag out. The gap between the two zippers is so big that my pup managed to open the bag, get out and crawl to the row of seats in front of me. Thankfully, the passengers overtaking them didn't mind a little surprise at their feet. In my personal opinion I would choose a hard case for transporting your puppy/small dog to avoid all the headaches I have experienced. And thank you Southwest Airlines and the passengers for their generosity!
