Review on Finnex Planted+ 24/7 ALC Aquarium LED Light with Automatic Sunrise and Sunset, Enhanced by 660nm Deep Red LEDs by Amy Perry

I have been a big fan of Finnex for a number of years and although I still compare other lights when preparing new tanks I still choose Finnex for the overall quality and the price. I was surprised at how thin this light was compared to other similar Finnex models and wasn't sure if it would cover front to back for a 22 gallon tank. It's a pretty simple setup and I love that the old Planted+ remotes work. with all Planted+ lights. I don't need 3 remote controls for each light as I currently run 3 aquariums with Finnex Planted+ lights. The sleek, clean and modern design is a huge asset and after 2 months of running the 36 inch ALC the light has proven to be another amazing quality at a competitive price without spending too much money on bells and whistles like apps which I probably do would use only once during initial setup. I'm trying to automate my tanks as much as possible, so I don't know why I have to constantly change the lighting with the application. Comparing Fluval Plant 3.0, this seemed like an unnecessarily expensive add-on that I rarely used after the initial setup. Having used Finnex for many years, I trust the build quality and functionality. I like to program the color temperature for sunrise and sunset and the full bright white time for the midday sun. I programmed two 24/7 Planted+ lights to cycle through the same color temperatures throughout the day, ending the evening with blue-blue LED moonlights and some red to see cherry red shrimp and fish glow. shines brightly at night until the light goes out completely. I have several FugeRay Planted+ Clip lights for my nanocube aquariums and all I ask is that the Planted+ Clip light be updated with updated features like the Planted+ 24/7 ALC light. ALC Planted+ is an amazingly powerful light source with beautifully adjustable color temperature.
