I like the smaller bottles and can refill them at the water stations along the route if needed. I turn the bottles so they wrap around my waist so my hands don't touch them as I walk. My phone fits perfectly in a pocket and I can also put an extra GU or energy pack in there. It's a little cozy but not intrusive - I won't be going there for a couple of hours! After running 6 half marathons in it, I'm still trying to keep it on my hips, but that might be due to the slick spandex pants I'm wearing. I really recommend this hydration belt. I wish I had bought sooner!
