Review on ๐Ÿฟ 1 Quart Popcorn Ceiling Patch - White - Ceiling Repair Solution by Jeff Wells

Everything works! for painting supplies and tools

Before ordering, I read reviews on several products. I've used a textured ceiling spray on a renovation in the past that works, but not much coverage in the can and lack of control. I manage a large number of rental properties, so I renovate from time to time. It's in an 80 year old house. A few years ago they installed air conditioning in the attic - not a very good job but that's why we inherited a "little hump" in the ceiling. There was a leak in the unit causing the popcorn to spill out. The leak was fixed, the ceiling was broken and smeared with mud. Looked like a 3 foot bald head and stuck out like a sore thumb. While this makeover is by no means great, it looks a lot better than what we started with, or a glossy bald head. As for the application issues, as many have written, the secret lies in applying with a brush. Don't try to paint over it. Use the end of the brush and simply dab. I think if I do this once I can work better the next time to control the amount of product applied to the blanket and improve blending. I think using a second drybrush to blend would have been worth a few extra minutes. Then I sprayed the ceiling with Kilz. Let it dry and paint the last layer. I will definitely use this product again if needed.
