I bought this pair and a pair of Ghost 13's. I like them both and they both have pros and cons. Glycerine shoes have more cushioning and feel great. The side rails really do feel like they're doing something. The downside is that cushioning costs some energy. Not much, but just noticeable compared to the Ghost 13. The Ghost 13 are great shoes and I'll probably buy them at some point, but I have plantar fasciitis and they fit me great. Ghost 13 are very comfortable, but Glycerin is 1 step more comfortable. Ghost 13 seems to push you along and you don't lose that tiny bit of energy that you do with Glycerins. Also Brooks recommends 1/2 size up what I order and they fit me.
