Review on 🌡️ Cooper-Atkins 24HP-01-1 Stainless Steel Bi-Metal Oven Thermometer (Pack of 4), Temperature Range: 100°F - 600°F by Shawn Hodges

Inaccurate and difficult to read.

My new oven didn't bake well so I knew I needed a thermometer, but which one? After reading many Revain oven thermometer reviews and reviews on several grocery websites, I've narrowed the list down to the following three: • Taylor Classic Large Scale Oven Thermometer • CDN DOT2 ProAccurate Oven Thermometer - Large Scale • Cooper-Oven Thermometer Atkins 24HP- 01-1 stainless steel. Steel Blow Thermometer None of them were very expensive so I bought all three to compare for myself. Taylor and CDN consistently show the same temperature, while Cooper-Atkins shows a lower temperature (like my oven!). All three hang slightly from the stand, but only the broad base of the Taylor Classic sits well on the stand - the other two fall through if you're barely touching the stand they're sitting on. The Taylor Classic, with its large white dial, is the only instrument that is easy to read through the oven door glass. Cooper-Atkins is so small and almost useless with his silver face, CDN is only slightly better. I will be leaving Cooper-Atkins and donating the CDN to charity. Get Taylor Classic!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
