I was looking for a compact way to take a small magazine and some art supplies with me when I travel. Beautifully finished, this sleeve holds Strathmore Visual magazines in addition to its own magazine when inserted in landscape orientation. If left loose in the cover, it will also fit all other popular small brands of magazines, including Moleskins. Very tight. In addition to graphite pencils, I can also use rubber bands with most of my watercolor brushes. However, I had to use NAS for my Micron pens as they were too "fat" to fit in the rubber bands. Check out the fun discovery - the 5x5 "manuals" I prefer to use in one of my online courses fit in my right-hand pocket along with Prima's little metal pallet! If My Art Tools would only lengthen the elastic straps a bit and add a small external handle or carrying strap, this would be the PERFECT travel case for many watercolour, pen and ink lovers and those who paint with graphite! I would also like to add that this is a very good choice for the mother (or grandmother, LOL, in this case) of a young aspiring artist who is sitting in the back seat of a car needing to organize some basic drawing tools while on the road! It fits easily in the compartment in the back of our car seat and this bright teal color is one of my granddaughter's favorites!
