Review on Bulova Wooden Chiming Clock C3542 Cranbrook Wall Mount - Brown, Analog by Roel Lebron

I bought this watch because I like the style. And I want to be able to hear without looking and know what time it is, like 15, 30 or 45 past the hour, and of course know when the lesson starts. I give this product 5 stars for the looks. But I give 1 star for reliability. That's why. I've let it hang for a little over two weeks, and I've set the time exactly as the instructions say, except the instructions aren't quite right as far as I can tell. However, the clock starts normally, but after a day or two the hourly chime is shifted by one hour. In other words, when it's four o'clock, it only strikes three times. I've reset this clock three times and each time it's been fine for maybe two or three days and then I find it's hitting one bong less than it's supposed to. The batteries are fine as I bought new Duracell batteries when I installed the clock. As far as I can tell, the watch shows the perfect time to the minute. It doesn't work fast or slow. But the wrong bong at the start of the hour is discouraging. I would not buy this watch again due to this defect.
