Review on Hubbell 9450A 50A 120 Volt Receptacle by Eric Temple

Purchased for use in the garage to connect the EV charger. The electrician was in the process of installing a Leviton that served as living space. Instead, I gave him a Hubbell jar. He found that it is heavier and needs a deeper rosette. Since I want to keep current flowing through the outlet for several hours while charging overnight, I need a heavier commercial NEMA 14-50 outlet. I was afraid the lighter residential Leviton might get too hot. Even though Hubbell was twice the price, my state offers a 40% discount on installing EV chargers. Hubbell is worth the extra cost.
