I love this bag. My daughter recently bought Kavu and I loved the concept but it had limitations for me (only 2 bags, no convertibility etc.). This bag overcomes all of that and makes it as perfect as possible. Starting at the front there is a small pocket at the bottom with a straight zip and a protective strip of fabric over it (making it not a quick/easy pocket access, but very secure). I use this for my keychain and a few other small items that I rarely need access to. Directly above, the smaller of the two diagonal zippered pockets has slots for credit cards and pens, and easily holds my wallet, purses, Altoids, and receipts. The next diagonal zipper (also with security flap, but much easier to open because it's a longer zipper) opens into a pocket-sized pocket and can hold a couple of medium-sized books (not textbooks), a compact umbrella, a cosmetic bag, and other items . The water bottle pocket is perfect for the 21 oz HydroFlask and snaps into place when not in use so it doesn't come out and look weird. The last back pocket opens with a vertical zipper and is ideal for envelopes, thinner books and smaller documents. It will not fit 8.5 x 11 documents unless folded. This bag looks small because of the accent bar and the zipper opening is only about 6.5 inches; It's actually the size of the entire back of the back, but it's basically two-dimensional. All zippers are closed in the up position. The straps are easy to convert, I love that this bag has a hanging loop at the top and is very comfortable to carry in any position. The canvas material, straps and zippers feel strong and durable; The dark gray color is classy and casual. Really fantastic bag and I highly recommend it.
