This is a single faced satin ribbon. This is the thinnest satin ribbon I have seen in my life and I am 67 years old. It looks good from a distance. If you're using it for something that doesn't need to be worn or used, it should work just fine. This would be a poor choice for sewing on something that wears out. I bought this set of ribbons for sewing doll clothes. I will not use it for doll clothes. It's too thin and cheap. For example, I wanted to use it for the ribbons of a doll's summer dress. But it wouldn't stand being tied up and untied multiple times. I will probably end up giving it to my daughter for various crafts.
