It was hours of fun, about 20-25 hours, we drank wine, listened to music and chatted while painting so you can get it done faster. My boyfriend and I did this for 3-4 hours at a time, after that our necks and backs started hurting haha so we got back to it after a few days. I bought the frame in the photo separately and didn't include it. It has enough paint to complete the entire photo, although it doesn't look like it when you first get the cans of paint. Only one can of paint was completely used up. In between painting I recommend keeping the canvas out of direct sunlight as the numbers will fade. This one has brown lines and numbers which I prefer, the other I got from deer with black lines. It was a lot harder to hide the black letters, so you'll spend a lot of time repeating the same number twice, except for the fade, which I prefer brown. what this one has. I would say I recommend it to anyone aged 8+
