Review on Logitech M510 Blue Wireless Mouse with USB ๐Ÿ–ฑ๏ธ Unifying Receiver - Comfortable Shape, Back/Forward Buttons and Side-to-Side Scrolling by Kio Wolkzbin แ Œ

The quality doesn`t fit my expectations, I won`t buy it again.

Before this mouse, I used A4Tech X7 for three years, so I compare with it. The first thing I didn't like was that it was inconvenient to hold the mouse, as I used to - with my thumb and ring finger. If you hold the mouse with your little finger, then everything is fine. Secondly, the positioning accuracy of the laser pointer on this mouse turned out to be worse than that of the optical pointer on the X7. I had to increase the speed of moving the pointer in Windows, but I still miss the links on the pages. On different surfaces, the speed of moving the pointer also differs. For example, the mouse moves at the same speed on the table, much more slowly on the oilcloth. This has not been the case with past mice. Third - the laser is not in the center of the mouse. From this it follows that with circular movements of the hand, the pointer will write out an inclined ellipse. You will have to get used to doing the usual movements in a different way. Fourth - the location of the batteries at the bottom of the mouse, the center of gravity shifts downward, it is inconvenient to move the hand with the mouse over the table. If earlier I could normally carry the mouse, only holding it with my fingertips, despite the fact that the X7 is a weighted mouse, now when I lift it from the table, it tends to roll over. You have to spend extra effort to keep the mouse. Fifth - inconvenient middle button and scroll. The scroll is fuzzy, the middle button is tight and clicks loudly when pressed. Used to close and open tabs in the browser by pressing the middle mouse button, now these actions are terribly annoying. Total - I wanted a wireless mouse for greater ease of use - I got only problems. For a week of use, I could not get used to it, stuck the old proven one.

Pros
  • Appearance, materials, a compartment for storing the radio module inside the mouse.
Cons
  • Weight, laser not in the center of the mouse, tight and loud middle button, fuzzy scrolling, insufficient pointer accuracy.
